Clean Air Act
Once one gets past the topic of executive actions to tackle climate change, the whole topic of whether and how the existing Clean Air Act can be used to tackle climate change is back on the table. The question was at the heart of President Obama's climate strategy and the Clean Power Plan. As such there is already a large literature available on the topic, which you can access through its Index Entry in the **Climate Web.**
To dig deeper into the topic, you might want to start with a recent report summarizing a just-published new book on this very topic by Michael Burger of Columbia University's Sabin Center for Climate Change Law. The report is available here in the Climate Web, and the full book is available here. Hint - it's not cheap!
